Max Payne 2 Plot unscramblermachine (SPOILER ALERT)

So I saw the ending thx to my asshole friend and saw mona die and shit, but I Hear rumours of a super secret SECOND Ending. Also, that asshole wouldnt let me play, but I have a gameplay question. In the original you could fire the 9 mms just by holding down the trigger, even tho it was "semi auto". Did MP2 make it so you would click click click and fire three times?

The second ending is that mona DOESNT die and there are few extra missions (dead man walking).

Beat it on hard.
I think it's Dead man walking, or maybe dead on arrival. Oh well, you know. The hardest difficulty setting.

Yeah, I wanted to beat all of the difficulty settings anyway... and when it got to the end on "Dead on Arrival" (or whatever that difficulty setting was) and he said something like "... and sometimes something good comes from it." while looking at her body I was like "What? That's not what he's supposed to say," then I realized it was a happy ending instead.

That made my day for two reasons:
1) There was actually something waiting for you after beating the same game three times on increasing difficulty settings... unlike the original (at least, I don't remember anything special at the end of Max Payne).
2) Max finally had something good happen to him... and after all that shit he's been through he'd better leave law enforcement and take it easy for a while. I know I would.

Remedy are quite the tricksters... they even left some of the hints that she would die in that ending... like the part with that big metal spear-like thing falling between the two lovers in the picture, and the camera zooms in on it.

It still fires full auto if you hold the button down.
If you click once both guns will fire once (two shots).
