well, i guess it was inevitable, but there's no actor who can do it for me unless they can copy the voice perfectly... really, they just need to cast Sam Lake and give him some acting classes for the physical aspects... but i still can;t see this being good

Man, Max Payne is one of my fav games. It would make a kickass noir story, but you need a hell of a good actor and I can't think of anybody.

no, Sam Lake, from the first one... granted he's no actor, but he still has Max's face

yeah, he was one of the main guys behind the game, but they decided to go with professional actors for the second one so they found some, i guess

i'd really like to see the chick who played Mona Sax in the movie... she was some kinda good looking

I think its gonna end up too much like the punisher....almost the exact same story. As long as were on the subject of who should play max: Thomas Jane, Johnny Knoxville(yeah yeah...laugh all you want but he looks like max),or Peter Berg

i actually cant wait for this movie to come out.......
along with this movie which should release in 2007, next year we should expect Deus Ex, Far Cry and Splinter Cell movies

It hardly needs action like the punisher did, (expet for some kickass bullet time ). The best thing about Max is the noir story and the character development.

I agree ...if they could somehow mix the grittiness of reservoir dogs with the film noir-esque style of sin city ..it could be great
