Yes, they will reply, but not to everyone, but they try. If you have a good question then you have a better chance then asking when the game is going to come out and other stuf they wont tell us.

Can the people that have been here a while please stop being so harsh with the newer people here. I know it's a bit tedious going over the same things but I've noticed a trend recently of a lot of flames flying around over little things.

I were going to ask if CS: Source will have bot support, and if they are planning to sell it sepperatly from HL2.

Cant see any problems with telling us that.

Im a CS fan, and i dont give a crap about HL2 you know . And probably the other way with some of you.

please read the info thread, or at the very least the last few pages of it, before sending in a question. Chances are, all the basic questions and most of the specific ones have already been sent in. Even if you don't see your question in there, chances are that people have been asking, but Valve just wont answer those questions.

Don't worry *laughs like Jabba The Hutt* it can run on a 166Mhz machine, 32 mb ram and a on board shithole *thumbs up*

That's one of the best things about HL2. The fact that it can run on low end machines and still be awsome. One of the great selling points of HL 2 in my opinion.

They market the fact that it can be run on low end computers, but it will look like HL1 and run even worse.

why would it look like HL1 and run even worse...for one thing you haven't seen it...for another there is proof of that not being the case.

I have ...wait to be blown away... a P3 550, 320 mg Ram, Geforce 2 Graphics card and 13 gigs of memory....not the dogs bollocks by any stretch of the imagination, however i can run far cry on low everything reasonably well and if i crank up a couple of effects to medium it doesn't kill the thing, the physics all work and it's playable. Something must have been done well for this to be the case, it certainly looks a lot better than HL1.

HL2 is meant to have incredibly well written code and all kinds of various little bits of wizadry to make it good, i plan to upgrade in tie for it to come out because ive had the old one and while and i think now is as good a time as any but i am sure myold comp could still run the game to a point. ANyways i think it sucks people show random negativity on little issues like that when it just shows ignorance.
