Uh? Is it possible to have the same IP? Are you running on a...oh whats it...hub i think? Oh and there is no way to change it to my knowlege.

you want you and your friend to be on 2 separate external internet ips correct? right now you're both going through a router yes? the only way is to pay your ISP more to get another account/static ip

That would be a lan IP address, only relevent between you and your router. If you want your real IP address, try
