Turtle Rock studios creator and Left 4 Dead head-honcho Mike Booth has been talking to Left 4 Dead 411 and reveals some interesting tidbits about the game. The most striking is the confirmation that Left 4 Dead media (possibly like the Team Fortress 2 stuff) is due out soon. I guess we shall see some exciting stuff when Valve show off Left 4 Dead at E3.[br]
Do you plan on having trailers exploring the four survivors similar to Team Fortress 2's "Meet the Team" advertisements?[br]L4D media is in production. We hope to have the first of it online for folks to check out in the coming weeks.[br]The release date in UK was the 7th. Does the UK release date also include any other countries or just the UK?[br]We're targeting the first week of Nov for availability everywhere. Retail debut dates vary by country, and L4D will become available on the standard "new release day" of that week.
[br]You can find the whole set of questions and answers right here but bear in mind Mike didn't answer all the questions set by the Left 4 Dead 411 community.

NICE! I would think these would be more horror oriented and not comedy?

I think it will be a somewhat humorous introduction of the characters before the infection. It's the only way I can see it.

To all those saying that it's old:

It's not old being told the first of it is coming in a few weeks. You're probably saying old because of this small part of the March 5th interview of Chet conducted by RockPaperShotgun ( http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2008/03/05/rps-interview-valves-chet-faliszek/ ):

RPS: The Team Fortress 2 shorts are still coming?

Faliszek: Sure, and we?ll do something like that for Left 4 Dead. We have a bunch of guys working on it. We?re hooked on it. They?re too funny. Speaking as someone who doesn?t actually have to do that work, I?d say that they?re totally hilarious. Yeah, I?m sure the team don?t think so. It?s a long slog to get the funny.
