As we've been promised, The second installment in the Team Fortress 2 character movies "The Soldier" is finally here![br]
Get it while it's hot from GameTrailers or FileShack.[br]

So I was wrong about him having a German accent. But a Texan drill sargeant one is the next best perfect one.

Awesome! I love the action bits style being more like "serious" war games, if you know what I mean?
 
Like all TF2 videos it's looks amazing. Rambo 4 style, but the mouth movements are what gets me every time, someone should really ask a lipreader weather or not they can lipread the mouth movements.

I know what you mean, but this is one of the few cgi movies (for a video game) where I WASN'T bothered by the lip syncing at all.

Valve wins :D
 
The video was excellent as was the lip syncing :thumbs::thumbs:
 
Did we just see blood in TF2 for the first time?

Funny video, but still the Heavy was better :)
 
Does anyone know the name or the place I could get the song that plays during the "serious" parts?
 
Anyone know if they've released a hi-res version of the new "group" shot shown at the end. I want to add it to my dual-desktops with one version on each.

Though he wanted desperately to fight in World War 2, the Soldier was
rejected from every branch of the U.S. military. Undaunted, he bought
his own ticket to Europe. After arriving and finally locating Poland,
the Soldier taught himself how to load and fire a variety of weapons
before embarking on a Nazi killing spree for which he was awarded
several medals that he designed and made himself. His rampage ended
immediately upon hearing about the end of the war in 1949.
 
The ending really did surprise the heck out of me. I had a different idea from when the first teaser pics were out.

I haven't watched the video yet (waiting in line), but this is absolutely genius.
 
This game is going to be the best thing since sliced fried bolognia!
 
Anyone else hoping they include some of these lines and facial expressions as taunts? That would be ****ing awesome if possible.
