Meet the Spartans beat both Cloverfield and Rambo at the box office.

Well, some hope is left. Apparently, despite so many people going to see it, most of them didnt like it. Its currently voted the 50th worst movie ever on IMDB with over 5 thousand votes (2.2/10 rating)

Still, everyone who saw this and supported it by spending money on it is an idiot.

It can't be! THATS IMPOSSIBLE!

I liked the Scary Movie series... is this really much worse? :p

Yes. All the recent movies that this director has made are in IMDB's bottom 100 movies ever.

Hes getting worse and worse with each release.

Galaxy Quest - my favourite spoof of all time :D

Mine is showing Halo 3 Localized Stats. By Nation, By State, By Zip Code.

I watched it this Christmas

Best. Christmas. Ever.

I hadn't seen it since I was like 10 or something, and yet I still remembered so much.

I saw this movie with a couple of so-called friends last night...

The only slightly funny part was the kicking scene, other than that I kept contemplating suicide for another hour.

I thought Cloverfield was an over-rated one trick pony anyway.

It's actually at least two people writing and directing all of these shit movies. Most recently, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. How it requires more than one person to create these failures is beyond me.

To fail on this large of a scale, you can't just go for the bronze with just one, go for the gold with multiple failures!

hey it beats date movie and epic movie, im so glad i never went to the theatre and paid for that shit. the scary movie series i have enjoyed. the 1st and 2nd weren't really of parodies at all.

I didn't even know about this film until like a week before it came out o_O

How do these things keep getting made?

god damn, ****ing seriously. Those shows and reality television single handedly caused me to stop watching tv. Sometimes I'll turn it on to see what's going on but I'm bombarded by hordes of CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: New york, CSI: Special Victims unit, Law & Order, Law & Order: CSI: Miami, Generic Hospital Show #1, Generic Hospital Show #2, and WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ****ING CRIME DRAMA SHOWS!?!?!

They aren't even ****ing original! There's no ****ing mystery! It's not like they present all the evidence to us and then the audience is like, "how can that make sense!" and then they show us how and we're all impressed. They show us a dead body, and then step by step uncover how it happened, and then in the end the kid screams, "I KILLED MY MOM! Not him!" and dun dun dun, the world just flipped mother ****ing upside! omg what an awesome ****ing twist, who the **** could have seen that coming?!

I desire to fire bomb these shows head quarters.

there are a few really good reality tv shows..."Intervention" and "The First 48" are 2 really good examples.

EDIT: also the Ultimate Fighter series is really good too.

Is The First 48 that crime show where they have 48 hours to solve a crime or somehting?

'Cause that show is cool.

yea..it follows real homocide detectives..really interesting.

Also Intervention is an awesome show, a documentary on people who are addicted to things. The majority of episodes are people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol, but there are episodes where people are addicted to food, shopping, rage etc.

They follow them around, and in the last 15-20 min of the show, their family and friends secretly arrange an intervention.

They tell the addicted person in the show it's their final on-camera interview and when they walk into the room...BOOM intervention time.

really good show

Wow, 18.5 million & a 2.0 rating on IDB.com. I seriously need to work on my marketing skills; evidently that's where all the money is these days.
