I actually thought the scout was the spy when I saw him trying to get into the intel room, but as the Blu spy continued his narrative I started to think it was him. I stopped thinking that when he said "IT COULD BE ME". And then the soldier shot him.

I thought they got it awesome with Meet the Sniper... then this happened.

It's interesting to see the genres they go through. A few continue the interview format one like the Heavy had (demoman, engie), others are more amusing incidents (soldier), the scout's is kind of meta, sniper's was almost documentary-interview-like, and now we have our own little story one for the spy.

I can't wait for Pyro and Medic.

Yeah, the technical quality of this video quite happily matches that of any Pixar/Dreamworks video in most areas. And kicks their ass when it comes to facial expressions.

maybe they leaked this on purpose, right after the "snipe- oh, spy" update, and this video is actually just a spy, and they've made two "meet the..." videos!

i'm sure it's unrealistically too much work, but think about it. The last update - scout - had no videos, they spent that time working on "Meet the Spy" and, using another group, began working on "meet the ____" as well.

One youtube comment has struck me; the one where the women in the photo is actually the Pyro with all the clothes and protection off. Makes sense considering the Pyro was the only one not present in the video. It would also mean the Pyro was in fact the Scout's Mother!

It's throwable for presentation purposes most likely. Alternatively that scene is 100% accurate and sappers can be thrown plus sentries don't shoot undisguised enemy spies.
