Why the **** do people dissect sentences like this, the next sentence...if you can read, says she knows how to make money. A shitload more than you. I'm not saying shes a smart person, but she probably has a better memory than yourself because she has to know where to stand, what to say, etc. yeah she may sound dumb, but have you done your research?? I love how people base a role on the silver screen to the real life person...as if they know who they really are day to day.

not really, if she were ugly she'd be just another poor slob like the rest of us. she doesnt know how to make shit, like most people of her ilk once her beauty starts to fade she'll be forgotten because at that point she'll have to rely on her talents ..which it's apparent she has none

high school education, attended a christian school, took dance classes ....so where is this evidence on wiki that's she not just another dumb pretty face because the wiki entry reads almost exactly that: "talentless beauty with no discernible talent becomes famous for her beauty"

I'll admit it, its been months since I last had any...but at least I know a hot chick when I see one. Also I have seen hotter chicks at my work than Megan Fox. Last night this euro chick was rubbing her stomach a few yards away and she had a nice natural tan and I'd ask her if she needed help if her husband/boyfriend wasn't there

If her interviews are anything to go by, no. She certainly does not know what to say unless her intent is to come off as tactless trash.

Being born with attractive genes is not a skill. And nobody is arguing whether she's attractive. Given half the chance, I'm sure every male on this board would gladly give 'er one. Doesn't mean she's likable, or talented, or whatever.
 
lets just agree to the capt Obvious standard, which is: Shes hot and very sexy, but she comes off rather dumb, and needs to talk less. Regardless she is fun to look at.

I am struggling to reply to this wanton use of stupidity. She has a better memory because she can rehearse lines from a script and follow the directions of, y'know, the director (Both of which are readily available on the set)? She is not a ****ing stage actor. You appear to be making the statement that all actors must have phenomenally good memories; acting skills be damned, at least they have a good memory! Do you know anything about memory? What are you actually trying to state here? You don't know, do you?

Warped, the fact that you find her attractive based entirely on looks and it doesn't matter to you that she can't seem to construct an intelligent sentence without swearing constantly just makes you come across as a shallow individual whose entire life is dictated not by your brain, but the fleshy appendage between your legs. Do me a favour and don't have kids.

Oh, and being a good actress (which she isn't) doesn't make her smarter than anyone else. It simply means she has a different talent. I would put her knowledge of acting against my knowledge of music theory any day. It doesn't mean I'm any smarter than she is, just that I have different interests and have learned different things. That said, my college GPA probably says I'm smarter than she is.

anyways I'm not really arguing that she's dumb, that's pretty much a given. no the point of the thread is that they dont even disguise the fact that it's a cash-in franchise ..except now people are starting to catch on (ok admittedly only the dimmest, everybody else knew from the word go) so they'll go to great lengths to defend their pay cheque

I think he's posted like three times. I've yet to grasp the purpose of this thread. Transformers is... stupid? Doesn't seem necessary.
 
the fact we have a thread about how stupid a person is, is quite bothersome to say the least. we all know condensing a TV show from the 80s into a live action movie with tons of CGI will have to omit a lot of plot and probably a lot of essential data. I for one loved the original Transformers movie because of the simple fact that its ENTERTAINMENT and for the most part lots of fun. Same thing with Megan Fox, she is ENTERTAINMENT which is the heart of the movie industry. Shes saying, let this movie be known, its ENTERTAINMENT and if you want to sit there and obsess over details and plotholes your a ****ing idiot because you don't get the point of this film.

Sometimes pointless arguments are a waste of time...and its just funny to see how far people will go to prove they are smarter. Holy ****ing shit, Star Wars IV-VI have so many loopholes and conundrums you would need a 20 page statement just to describe them all. bottom line is this, "watch the movie or not, but guess what...you're discussing it and thats what we want...go see our movie"

how am I not helping myself. take for instance the trap you just fell into. this thread is talking about a movie, which obviously has not too much plot and a lot more action than the first film. explain to me what entertainment is then? the simply purpose of entertainment is to let go ones duties and relax plain and simple. people need to relax and enjoy themselves...and thats exactly what transformers is all about. sometimes when i see a movie after work, i don't want to have to think about whats going to happen next or who the killer is. give me carnage and explosions or like in 24 give me some nice shootouts. how can people not see this all ready. megan maybe just plugging her movie and now just about every person on the internet is discussing it.

example, "i want to see it badly" "i'll wait for the download" "looks to have no plot" "I want to see this in Imax" "it has Megan Fox, I'll see that twice just for her" etc. I took the role of the guy defending the film and the actors crazy ass comment because I too got caught up in the hype and discussion. but yeah sorry for speaking my mind just a bit. I just find it silly that people have to snap at the fact that someone pointed out the counter arguement

look one of fave action movies featured a guy who shot the bad guys with guitar shaped gun. it doesnt have to have a deep complex plot to be entertaining it just needs to be no crap. ok when I see an overly obvious product placement sequence featuring gm cars after I've shelled out $13.50 for the experience isnt my idea of "entertainment" ..it's as entertaining as an infomercial ..because I can see behind the curtain, the immersion is completely broken
