I will have to look for the Invoice, I'm unsure that I have it. This is my problem.

System Specs

1.AMD 64Bit 3400+ 939 socket w/ 90nm Technology
2.MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum Motherboard
3.OCZ PC3200 2x512MB Enhanced Latency Dual ChanneL DDR400 Platinum Edition Timing - 2-3-2-5
4.ATI Radeon x800 Pro 256mb DDR3
5. 2 x Seagate SATA 7200RPM 200GB HARD DRIVES.

I have tried 3 types of ram and 2 different video cards. I recieved the same errors.

Other Items : ATI RADEON 9700 Pro 128mb/ Kingston Hyper-X DDR-434mhz PC3500 / Patriot DDR-333mhz PC2700(wont even boot)

I have formatted the hard drives two times. I have installed on seprate hard drives. I've had floor fan running on the motherboard and all, overheating is not the issue, BIOS and other programs shw that nothing is getting warmer then 113F(45C) and low as 90F(32C). CPU Runs stock cooling Heatsink and Fan. Nothing has ever been over clocked.

My father; a MIS Manager, he deals with computer 24/7 while hes @ work. We tested ram and video cards on 64bit systems and 32bit systems. They never recieved error performing the same tasks as I have. We used same hardware(video card, RAM, hard drives, Windows XP PRO installation disk) I have ran several boot up memory test on each of the systems (all systems) no errors what so ever, even wit hthe different video cards and ram. I used different hard drives as well on installations. I know recieve more errors then ever, when opening :
Browsers
Messengers
Programs
Video Games
I have (re)installed new/old browsers, video games, messengers, drivers and yet still recieve these errors.

I have consulted a few specialists(my spectations of knowledge) They say theres nothing is ir can possibly but a motherboard.
The Videocards and Ram ran good on my older machine.
My Older machine had the same updates as well.

I recieve errors with the following:

Windows XP Pro SP1; No updates
Windows XP Pro SP2; All updates
Flashed Bios; Newest
Default Bios; Stock
.Net Framework 1.1
ATI RADEON DRIVERS; version 4.12, 5.3, 5.4
All MSI Drivers off Provided CD
All Windows Hotfixes.

Memory Tests:
I have ran Boot-Up Momory Tests by Mircosoft, by other companies from google searches on all of these machines the errors only show up on this motherboard.

Immediate Updates.
-----------------------

MSI MotherBoard Updates
Windows OS Updates
ATI 5.4 Drivers

I also recieved random reboot problems until I flashed bios so that was the first thing I did the second time around, teh computer adventually did not boot up in windows, it was crashing, so I reinstalled and then flashed bios first thing to stop that.

Everything like the ram videocards and motherboards, I am the origional owner, everything was bought brand new as well as the systems @ my fathers company. No second hands.

As rare as I think that a machine that produces motherboards can make errors, I think infact I have not to commen of problem but that a motherboard that wasbuild improperly.

I will inform MSI as well with this email.
(This Email is being sent to other people as well)

Shit innit. Get used to it, that seems to be the only option. Valve dont seem to care.

Eeeewwwww.... Shareaza..

Maybe you downloaded a virus that's eating away at your computer?

no not a virus...I know quiet alot of what I am doing, and know for a fact that I have no viruses..... I used F-Prot, Norton, E-Trust w/ Zone Alarm. and www.panadasoftware.com (awsome online scanner, will purchase a New liscense for 2005)

I had a problem with random restarts. Sometimes it wouldn't even turn on for more than 5 seconds before turning off/restarting again. I bought a better power supply and now it's fine.

Are you talking about memory errors during HL:DM, or just while using your comp?

I get these errors while playing Source engine games also. The game freezes and the windows cursor appears on the screen. The message is kinda layered under the screen, so you just hit return which presses the "OK" button and closes the game.

CONCLUSION: It's Valve/Steam's falt, not your comp.
