Mention of new video?

The Inquirer has an article about the ATI booth at the Intel Dev Forum that talks about a "second installment" of video. He doesn't really elaborate - he's too busy gushing about the hardware. What do ya'll think? Am I reading too much into this?

VAVLe have been very good about it all, not craking the Hype too early or too late and releasing a little bit of info to keep you excited but enough to forget about it

Off topic re: Inquirer

They might be right, but I wouldn't put too much faith in anything the Inquirer posts. Yes, they do often leak industry secrets, but they also write about totally baseless rumours and speculation with enough 'factual' sensationalism for two tabloids put together.

For instance take a look at what they wrote about Valve's 8 million dollar "conspiracy auction" with ATI against nVidia.

*Oh no* Valve didn't just sign up with a technology partner which actually followed the DX9 specs and offered good FP24 shader performance in Source. *Oh no* this wasn't just another par-for-the-course deal analogous to the dozens of others like nVidia's 'the way its meant to be played' campaign. *No way* this was a deliberate conspiracy by Valve to alienate over half their tier-1 user base and sabotage the FX benchmarking for their ATI G-man masters.... Pretty lame journalistic ethics..

I sure hope us poor little chappies down here in Aus get it shipped nice and quick. How long does it take to ship a million copies of HL2 all the way to aus?

Or do we print our own games here? we always seem to have different boxes and stuff...hmmm...the plot thickens

They'll probably press the CDs there, it would be a LOT cheaper than flying them over.

If you can't find a box, you could always get a 1 month sub. Only 10 bucks... unless you're bandwidth-strapped.
