Mercedes-Benz World Premiere of Innovative Nano-Particle Clearcoat

hhmmm it's nice to see advancements in nano tech are takeing place but it's nano robots that are the really big step forward.

Could someone please give me a plausible theory of how a nano bot would work. Where would the processor go? It certainly couldnt pick up radio signals to control it.

Unfortunatelly a better anti-scratch technology already exists. It's called "wash the car yourself you lazy bum" :)

Is scratched paint really that much of an issue?

Maybe, in the future, the paint will be stronger than the car itself...

You wouldn't need a processor, if a nano bot could only do 1 or 2 things it would still be very useful. Enzymes use nano tech and they work, we can't comunicate with them (only control there production) but they run our body.

BTW I'm not actually sure how small an enzyme is or that I'm thinking of the right thing :dozey:
