Hello all. My name’s Nick Ouellette, PR Head and Designer for a mod project titled Mercury Sky. We’ve got an extensive team already, with members in all of the basic departments such as music, modeling, mapping, coding, management, and sound engineering. At the moment, we are looking to fill several roles, many of which are imperative that we obtain in a short amount of time. Primarily, we are interested in talented 2-D artists, Illustrators, and Concept Artists in order to create the promotional and conceptual work necessary to get this project off of the ground. We have a temporary website, visible at www.mercury-sky.com. Visible there is all of the current information regarding the mod, though we do have a slightly outdated Design Document, available upon request.

At the present time our team consists of eleven members, with some half-dozen more with acceptations pending. Much to our dismay, none of these are concept artists. At the moment we have only a single concept artist who, while a talented artist, is young and often busy with school work, and lacks the rendering capabilities that will be required come time to produce higher-quality artwork.

What We Need:
- Concept Artists
- Web Designers
- Level Designers
- Any other kinds of artists (3D, Mapping, Music, etc.)

What’s Required of Applicants:
- A degree of experience and skill acceptable for the mod (to be determined upon application)
- Willingness to work with a large group of people in a close creative environment
- Willingness to ‘Touch-Base’ with the team either on our forums, IRC, chat, or E-Mail every day, if possible
- Ability to dedicate approx. four hours a week on IRC or one-on-one chat with other team members

What’s Preferred of Applicants:
- Willingness to dedicate at least 12 hours a week to working on the project independently (please notify us if this is not possible)
- Experience on previous Mods or game projects

Very true, and that based on this and what the website offered (that's a tamporarely one?).

By the way, might I suggest you convert the concepts from bmp to gif or JPG? 1Mb load is unecessary.
Great concepts, by the way.
 
That animation is really sweet now with some basic textures. Still missing the particle steam though, but lookin great indeed!

The shotgun has different skin now. Almost all weapons have been modelled already and half dozen extra models just for fun. The combat knife and shotgun are the only ones with some kinda skin. We need a skinner/texturer though, since we don't have anyone for that specific job, but we might post some of the models without textures any time soon.
