Mesh On Model Inverts After Export

I've made some gibs for a wooden table. It has 6 all together but three of them have a problem where they're inverted.



When I exported it from max it looked fine and studiomdl reported no errors. I've checked the smoothing groups and materials and can't find anything I might have screwed up. I remember seeing this problem somewhere but can't remember how you fix it.
 
Try selecting the object, and using the "Reset XForm" utility. This may invert the polygons, so just flip them back.
 
yeah this happens when the normals are pointing inwards, but i see you fixed it :)
