hi, please someone help me
I find this really hard to explain, but when playin games, it seems mostly in hl, ccs, dod, when i move or look left to right the image becomes messed up, i try to take screen shots but it never shows up in them.

i edited a screen shot of ccs using paint :) to try and show what happens, its like strips of the image are out of time with other strips.

please does anyone know what this is? and how to fix it?, it really pisses me off,
i have
amd 3000+ 64,
x800 pro,
1 gig ram,
SATA 160 gig hhd
i get about 50 fps in ccs, which i also thinks bad, but i had the same shit on my old setup

please look at the door fram on the right in the pic, the stripe effect is over all object close to the player.

it looks so ugly, the picture doesnt show its true badness in game :D

please help, thanks

turn off v.sync if you have it on. also, if youve o/c'd your card, then change it back to default. install latest drivers for your card and install dx9.0c. if the problem persists come back again and tell us :D

hi, tried with v.sync on and off, its the same either way. the card is not o/c and has the latest drivers and DX :(

also its not the monitor i have used 3 different ones

nope, its hl, dod, ccs, tfc plus others like tribes, battle field, pretty much every fps i have played, but it seems worst in valves games

ok then im pretty sure its your card. have you tampered with it in anyway? if you have then you cant send it back for a replacement. what make is it anyway?

i havent touched it, its a powercolor, but i had the same problem with my old nvidia :(

Then it may be your mobos agp connection. Is it the same board as you had with your old nvidia. If not, what hardware is the same?

its a new mb the only thing the same is a hdd which the game or windows isnt installed on, a stick of ram and keyboard :D maybe its the ram? i dont see how tho :(

mobo then. if its the same mobo then your agp connection is either faulty or buggered. besides, spending £40-70 on a new mobo is always a plus. thats what i would recommend you do :D

i think u miss understood, i have a new K8T Neo-FIS2R motherboard

please someone help, i know other ppl have the same problem i have seen it on other computers.
