Well a friend of mine showed me these and at first I found them disturbing, and then I realized; " When does any of this stuff happen?! " We were both high, but whoever created these things are more screwed up than the people doing meth. They make absolutely no sense.

The ad is pretty hilarious but I get the point they were trying to make. I've had friends get hooked on meth and it ain't pretty. I don't think taking it to the extremes like this helps tho. Just like in those old "this is your brain on drugs" commercials where they'd smash the shit out of an egg. When you see that and then you see your average pothead in the complete opposite state (just sprawled out on the couch eating chips and watching tv) it really hurts the commercial's credibility, and by extension the campaign's.

Absolutely. That advert with the bartender who takes you through all the ramifications of a single drink is absolutely amazing. Effective as it is, it's a slippery slope argument of the most ancient kind and I can hardly believe it was actually made.
