Holiday season. Thats my guess, but sales are sales. I guess they probobly figure more people will buy the games. Fresh in their minds if they come out in November or December as opposed to August or July.

It's not about every game - when experienced developers make a good game - and all shove it to release in november - then heck, all scores may genrally look high.

IMO, They're incredibly fun and entertaining games.

They're very detailed with intriguing storylines.

Metroid Prime was one of the most interective fps I've ever played if not the most. Metroid Prime is still my favorite fps of all time.

Oh yeah....the Metroid Prime was a pain in my arse. Even worse was just getting to him with those bastard mutated Metroids.

As far as hard mode goes...The enemies are tougher. As far as other things go, it's been like a year and a half since I last had an oportunity to enjoy that game. I think some things are moved around, don't quote me on it, but it may just be harder enemies.

I remember the game taking almost like 35 hours on hard. If anything you'll get to enjoy a great game for over 30 hours.

Yep, those Metroids were really frustrating, especially not having any Power Bombs left so you could destroy them easy. :/

I beat MP on easy mode in about 18 hours with about a 95% completion rate. I beat it in hard mode in about 18 hours also, with about a 90% completion rate. Nothing is moved around in hard mode, the enemies are just tougher to kill and cause more damage. A LOT more damage.

Just played it again this weekend and got 6 hour, 96% run (nowhere near world record time, but my personal best).
