Anyone seen the new trailer, and if so do you think actuall game play will look that good?

After seeing some of the pc games coming out in 2006 I believe the gameplay for some of the next gen consoles will look this good. However I dont think well see this game in 2006.

I've seen the trailer, and yes it will look that good (if not better). No stupid pre-rendered Killzone bullshit to be found there. As soon as I found out that Killzone was Pre-rendered I got irritated at them for showing that...It's just as bad as the Halo 2 trailer at E3..all shined and worked up into some mockery, and when you finally played the game it was the worst FPS on the XBOX...I fear that killzone will be the same...but enough about Killzone. MGS4 is a must buy for me.

You mean you think we'll see it this year? or 2007? I think 2006 sounds good.

And as for the graphics, it looks next gen...not really amazing anymore...but nice looking

Even though we have seen these type of graphics on tons of trailers theres not any playable games that have been released yet like it.

Half life 2, Doom III, battlefield 2, far cry, etc look good but I think there just a transition between the old gen and new. Unreal 2007, Mgs 4, Killzone, days to vegas, and etc are the real next gen graphics. Even though we have seen tons of trailers, I havent seen a playable game looking as good as those yet. If you have please tell me the name of it.

Hideo Kojima said in an interview that the game will be released sometime in 2006. If I had to guess, I would say towards the end of 2006. Have any of the other MGS games ever been delayed?.

Nov 2k6 is the most probable release date.

MGS2 was first showed 1 year before it's release date, i.e. 2000, and released in 2001(NA).

MGS3 was also first showed 1 year before it's release, i.e. 2003, and it released in 2004(NA).

hell yeah, looks sweet, 2007 for europe i say....

usually its shown at 2 e3's(mgs3 e3 2003/2004, released q4 2004) before release in the states/japan, then early the next year in europa...

but i say it'll be shown at next years e3 then released in us/jp, eu after xmas 2006...

I hate how all of the PC originated games' sequels are going to be on the consoles, and then get ported to the PC...

I'm certain it will look as good as what has been shown. I doubt it will play any better than the previous games (dull).
