yeah there was definately too many at the start of the plant chapter, long intro(cool though), codec, cutscene explaining how to lure guards, another 1 with codec, meet vamp, walk, fortune, walk, stillman, once that finshed there was a good bit of game alright, there didnt need to be so much backstory.Gargantou said:Iirc, in MGS2, over 75% of the game were cutscenes and conversations iirc, and that's hellovalot.

but i have the official strategy guide which explains the story including the ending, it makes it sound very good, i liked how the ending left it up to you to take what you wanted from it. There were just too many twists at the end to be able to keep up imo. Still liked the story, theres some very good interpretations on the net.
