MGS4 for Xbox360

I guess that's that. Predictable and understandable. I'm hoping to start hearing some whining by those ps3 fanatics
 
I have a PS3 but I'm happy for the 360 owners.
 
Hmm interesting how it says A next Metal Gear is and not The next Metal Gear is. Could be just Koj's blatant bad grammar striking again.

The power symbol is the universal power symbol but ofcourse it certainly leans upon the 360 possibility.
 
Pretty sure this game will be a hit for the 360 as well. I for one will definitely get it when it comes out, even if that means at the end of 2009.
 
As long as the game retains the quality as the last, then it's all good.:cheers:

Where the devil do you see anything that says MGS4 is coming to the 360?? The solid story is pretty done and "next" implies a number after the current version (i.e. 5 not 4). I personally think this is going to be the next AC!D game, as someone in the Destructoid comments section has already stated and also posted this image:

It does probably make sense that people are reading too much in to the power symbol and not enough into the lowercase 'i' and '!' which denotes suprise and the ! in AC!D. AC!D for the iPhone? Who knows?? Definitely a typical Kojima mindf_ck though.
 
I would like to see 4 on our box. Mainly for teh lulz of PS3 fanboys crying... really I like seeing any fanboy cry :) but also it.... might be an intresting game. I would probably rent it.
 
You know I stopped buying coca cola today... You know why! BECAUSE ANOTHER STORE SELLS COCA COLA TOO! I mean thats just an outrage! Same product on two different stores! First I was /wrist but now I'm /gun.
 
Not necessarily MGS4. There's been a new Metal Gear in the pipeline since a few months after 4's release, so this could be it. Kojima's said he was taking a back seat on this one I think.
 
And the massive riot of ps3 fan'tards begins throughout the internet... yet again.
 
Maybe they're just mocking the X360 owners, getting their hopes up for nothing.

Why would you hope for that? Why would anyone want to entice whining? Who bloody cares. The consoles are fundamentally all the same to me. I own a Wii (Wasn't my purchase originally) and a PS3 (for media streaming). Yet I don't have a 360 and don't plan on getting one, it has games I'm simply not interested in. People are too emotionally attached to their purchases.
 
This probably doesn't have anything to do with the Xbox360, as some people said earlier.

"i" possibly implies the iphone

"!" implies metal gear acid

The final symbol is your generic (but slightly modified) power symbol. It also says "the next metal gear is...", which means it's an entirely new game. The only thing that would possibly like this to Xbox360 is the green color.

Who really cares? I always laugh at the people that make fun of PS3 fanboys, when a lot of them are just 360 fanboys.
 
I ****ing hope this isn't all gona end up being over a new MG Acid game. Pfft fuk that.

I personally hate console exclusives anyway, multi-platforming means you are selling more products, especially considering that there most likely a lot more 360 owners than PS3 owners, you get more a profit and everyone is happy. Stupid marketing.
 
No. It is on a 50 GB Blu-ray disc. It'll be hard to copy it on DVD's. It will need proximately 5 DVD's.

Generally on Blu-Ray disks, there is so much space that the information is copied over many different times to different sectors of the disk to help increase load times.
MGS4 would probably take 2 DVDs, MAYBE 3 in the 360.

So what if it's on 5 dvds? They used to do that back in the day with old RPGs on the PS1.
Except on.. cds.
