While I do think he has some good points, he does a pretty bad job if he wants you to like his personality

PROTIP to Michael Moore: Being a douchebag doesn't make me want to listen to anything you have to say.

A douchebag?

Sure, he got a little pissy but after the false hit peice on him they aired right before his interview he certainly has a right to be that pissed off.

Wow...

Michael Moore: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Rawrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

He came off as incredibly arrogant and loud. He certainly could have handled himself better than that. There's no way you could tell me that response was a necessary one given the fact that Wolf Blitzer never raised his voice to Moore. They could have had a civil conversation.

Didn't Moore get booed when he won an award? I swear I remember that for the 9/11 thing.

Did you watch the segment they played right before Moore came on? It was filled with outright lies. They did the exact same thing to him when F9/11 was coming out. 3 years later it turns out he was right, CNN was wrong, yet CNN refuses to apologize for it. And not only that they pull the exact same shit again. He had every right to be that angry. They have reaired that same segment over and over while Moore had only 10 minutes of air time to get his point accross. As obnoxious as it sounded, and I do agree that it was obnoxious, he has a extremely great point, a point nobody else seems to have the balls to bring up when live on the air. So give him a little more credit, credit he certainly deserves.

Yeah, he did.

And 3 years later history proved Moore correct while proving those people that booed him total morons. Funny how that works, no? And 3 years later we are seeing the same exact shit.

I give him credit for taking on tough issues, but it doesn't mean I have to give him credit for the way he acted. He reminded me of Bill O'Reilly in that clip, and that's not a compliment.

Ya, that annoyed me as well. If he toned it down a bit and didn't interrupt Blitzer from talking, id have a bit more respect for him.

And like I said, I agree he could have handled himself a lot better.

But put yourself in his shoes, CNN aired false attacks on your 3 years prior to this, turned out they were wrong, you were right. You don't get an apology, instead right before your next interview you get to watch a segment that has been aired 10s of times before to millions of people where they make up new baseless lies about you. How would you act if you only had 10 minutes to respond to all that moments after you saw that hit piece. He cooled down shortly after the interview started, if it was me I would have been going off the entire 10 minutes until they cut my mic off.

And for the record Moore completely debunked everything on his web site only 7 hours later. Wolf said he would correct the record if this happened. I haven't had a chance to watch CNN yet today as I've been at work but $20 says they not only didn't correct the record but they continue to show that slander they call a "news" segment.

No, he actually sucks pretty bad at debating. Good points, but poorly delivered.

He could have been a little more calm, but nonetheless I think he was right to be offended.

Proven correct about what?

Side note when reading this, CNN is owned by ABC:

Maybe this was an evasion, maybe not; but it certainly constituted a response, and ABC could easily have included it in subsequent news stories about Fahrenheit 9/11. Instead, the network launched a two-pronged attack on the film's accuracy--one that advanced from Good Morning America to World News Tonight--without giving Moore a fair chance to respond to the most damaging claims. Both segments began with the graphic "Fact or Fiction?"--the journalistic equivalent of asking a defendant when he stopped beating his wife. Both relied heavily on Clarke's statements and let them go unanswered.

"My feeling is that ABC News gave Michael Moore a fair chance to respond," says Bridgette Maney, the publicist for Good Morning America. ABC News spokesperson Cathie Levine noted that World News Tonight had run a clip from the Stephanopoulos interview after airing Clarke's statement. But that clip did not contain Moore's response to Clarke's comments.

Well I'll be damned, Moore is on CNN right now. They are showing part2 of his interview from yesterday and they said they clearly wont edit it.

I would watch it if I had access to a television...

I probably wouldn't, but if I did want to, it would be solely to hear him talk on and on like someone actually cares what he has to say. If you believe 9/11 is a conspiracy, you kind of turn people off of any other points you might have.

Making more shit up again Nemesis? Where did Moore claim 9/11 was a conspiracy.

You need to pass me what you are smoking one day, you seem like you are really happy in your simple world.

I have to give credit where credit is due, CNN will have Moore on tonight with Dr. Sanje Gupta (sp?) to address his criticism. It will be on Larry Kind Live at 9pm ET. Get your popcorn ready.

all news channels are biased... i dont watch any of that crap.

oh for the love of god, we've been through this a million times ..you havent even seen farenheit 9/11 ffs, you still think it's like loose change ..you really are stubborn (I have other descriptors but I'll bite my tongue because at this point it's become redundant)

It's amusing, people saying "yeah I'd respect him if he weren't such a dick to Wolf." **** Wolf. Wolf is an ass.

Typical neocon, if you refuse to hear it, or see it, it doesn't exist (I read that in a sig around here somewhere, perfect example).

Finished the Larry King interview, I'm sure it will be up online soon. If not I can get it off my DVR and upload it.

Overall Moore simply sucks at debating. He had the upper hand on the facts but he was too busy throwing out pointless facts when his only real point should have been about the fact that that CNN segment was meant to discredit the movie to protect the status quo. Even if CNN got their facts right (they didnt) they were going through the entire movie with a fine comb for a got ya moment. Any slight deviation in the numbers was automatically used to show Moore "fudging facts" which in essence completely discredits this important movie. And this kind of assasination was not an accident, it was totally deliberate. Why Moore didn't point this out to them is what suprised me.

You will see him agreeing with 9/11 being an "inside job" and you'll him refusing to talk to critics if you watch the video.

By the way, I don't smoke anything. Do you?

He never ever states that he thinks 9/11 was an inside job in Farenheit 9/11, he only states that it came as a blessing for the administration.

Yes. I think he made up a word too... "Fictition" I think it was.

Michael Moore is a jackass.

I find that many americans stupidly criticise Moore without knowing a single thing about him ..it's almost always "just because"

anyways he was booed at the oscars for criticising Bush proving once again most americans at the time were complete idiots ..it's absolutely appalling that the only criticism at the time leveled at the bush admin's decision to bumfcuk Iraq was from an ENTERTAINER

I wouldn't mind Moore if he wasn't a truther to be honest.

lol, Nemesis how you like to label people ..I guess I'm a moonbat leftist according to your warped logic ...but it beats being ignorant and border line retarded ..so label away, a label is just a word, what you're suffering from no amount of words will cure ..so..no biggie :E

I did. My post on the previous post. Watch the god damn video.

I already posted evidence. But here it is AGAIN, for those who truly are retarded: http://www.reason.com/blog/show/120903.html

There is the link. Does stupid see the link? Can stupid click on the link?
Well, he never says he thought it to be an insight job, he did certainly give the impression though. Hmm.

Yeah, he kind of did. Preemptive attack: Agreeing when truthers fire rhetoric at you insinuates that you believe it yourself. That you made a movie about 9/11 being a conspiracy doesn't tip the odds in your favor.

:upstare: oh ffs Nemesis please for the love of god watch F9/11 point out exactly where Moore says anything about it being staged ..he barely even mentions the attacks besides as background information, it's almost all foreign policy

wikipedia said:
It presents a critical look at George W. Bush, his presidency and the War on Terrorism. The documentary has another theme of criticizing the American corporate media for being "cheerleaders" for the war in Iraq, and not providing an accurate and objective analysis of what led to the Iraq invasion and the resulting casualties there.

you know people probably wouldnt think you're such an idiot if you didnt consistently make outlandish statements about movies/articles you havent even watched/read ..you'd think the least you could do is read a single review on the movie that wasnt penned by the idiots at little Green Footballs
