Microsoft Conference Today

im looking forward to this, mainly because of Halo 3 and any dx10, vista they show off, discuss
 
Definately looking forward to the dx10 card, because I'm waiting to buy a PC system until the DX10 graphic cards are out.
 
This is going to be the best Conference for sure. At least i hope!
 
lets see M$ put Sony's conference to shame :) although that wouldn't take much.

Im interested to see how the PS3 fares against xbox360 upon release, especially with the rumored price drop on the xbox360 packages... and ps3 selling for 500 or 600 smackers +

I wasn't impressed by sony's showing at all. Nintendo's was definately more fun and entertaining but I wasn't to impressed by the games themselves. But like they said you really have to play it to understand. Hope microsofts is better. The 360 is looking like the system for me at the moment, If I do get one..

Yeah, that's pretty much what I felt. Bit worried I won't see the Microsoft conference. My uni is doing maintainence on the network and net access will probably shut off right as it starts!
 
wth. ms conference isn't streamed for non subscribers... what is this bull?

None were suppose to but they changed it. Dunno now. I subscribed so i will be reporting on the conference :p

I was pretty sure it was free before.... was it changed? or am I going insane

because initially MS was the only one I bothered checking was free....

Edit: Just got this from IGN
We just got word from MS that NO ONE will be allowed to stream the MS conference live this year. However, we will be taping the conference and will start streaming our feed to Insiders as close to the end of the conference as possible.

Just wanted to give you a heads-up in case you were wondering.

Nope. Eurogamer will be texting and gametrailers only had Nintendo. If someone proves me wrong I'll <3 you.

I guess they are quite worried since when live, things don't always go according to plan, and I have heard that they had a disaster on MTV before during a live broadcast.

Over the shoulder look as the two chars try to break out of military prison. Nice crash zoom on dead bodies as they kick down a door. The level of detail is amazing, with a huge rocket hitting a tower that tumbles down.

I'm on Eastern time too. That is one hour from now. Syncronize watches to this post if you are in a different time zone (most of you)

You don't have to press the F5 button, it updates all by itself.

No one in the world but the people there can. Microsoft has said NO LIVE streams.

it auto updates and highlights the update in green, as they say at the top of the page, do not refresh
