Milkshape -> HL2?

XSI will be great once I learn to use the blasted thing. However I have some simple model hacks and such I'd kinda like to start on now. I am familiar and comfortable with Milkshape (compared to XSI, it's a child's toy) and was wondering- with HL2 still using MDL and SMD files, is Milkshape capable of putting out HL2 models? Thanks for your time.

I believe they'll make an exporter for Milkshape. It's already capable of exporting models but with some limitations (HL2 models are similar to HL2s). I'm pretty sure when the full SDK will be out, we'll see a complete exporter.

Ah, good to hear. Didn't cross my mind that I should've just waited until AFTER the SDK was released to ask this... heh. Thanks.
