Nintendo died? The same Nintendo that has the Wii outselling the PS3 and 360? The same Nintendo that make a profit on every console sold, rather than a loss? The same Nintendo that have sold approximately seventy five million billion DSes? Yeah, man. Totally dead. They really did a SEGA there. I remember the day the Wii came out, and how there were hundreds on the store shelves, and everyone just walked right on past to get a 360. A sad, terrible day for Nintendo.

As has already been stated, it has more good games than the other consoles. That's pretty much what I'm getting at. Comments like 'Wii sucks' typically come from ignorance about the console itself, not any actual knowledge about what games it has.

Pop culture isn't a good judgement of talent/ability. Humans generally are f'in stupid, if sales are based it what is good then I'll be glad when we all rid ourselves of life for the value of the dollar.

Mario kart
Smash Brothers:Brawl
Super Paper Mario ,Metroid.
and Zelda that it.


Mario Kart is pretty much the same on the NGC
Galaxy was fun.
SSB is not much different from the NGC version either.
Metroid is decent at most.


I guess you also add World of Goo but most people don't know that game exists.


PS3 and 360 of all the major sport games and they always better on these 2 except for maybe Tiger Woods (wtf golf)
No real competitive online play for Wii

so IMO (happy now Pi?) the wii looses at all ends. except fro maybe hardcore Mario Fans (plattforming stopped being cool 15 years ago)

Mad World, Wii Sports, Lost Wind, Resident Evil 4, and Okami are all great. Metroid is fantastic and has some of the best controls ever. Brawl is one of the best party games ever. Zelda is pretty good. Mario Kart is like Double Dash except the controls are actually good and the online is great. The list goes on, I'm a little too tired to think of anything right now, I'm sure Warbie will have plenty to say. I don't know if you honestly care about the generic sports games that come out every year, but uh, okay. The 360 and PS3 don't have nearly as many quality exclusives.

Onlineplay for MK is a pain.
Metroid was good(ish) so was SM:Galaxy

Xbox 360:GTAIV,Halo3,Bioschock,Gears,RE5,SF:IV,CoD4 etc.
The PS3 has almost equally good games RE5,Bioschock,Cod4/5,GTAIV it also LBP,MGS4 and KZ2 it's a Media Station, wireless media streaming from PC,bluray,pretty good online browser.
The xbox is a decent media station but the PS3 one is easier to use and it plays more formats and it has blurays.

I didn't mean to be a jackass or anything,I just don't like it when people praise Nintendo just because they sell a lot of stuff.

Activision could also use that line of thought.
I remain a PC gamer at heart though.



I do realize that the roles could be reversed btw.

So you argue that the Wii has no games at all and then when you get a list you start with 'Quality vs Quantity!' Not to mention I'm intentionally listing only things that are quality. Also:

Pretty much the only exclusives on the list are LBP, MGS4, and Halo 3. I don't list Killzone 2 because I know from firsthand experience it's about as generic as it gets. I could say the same about Halo 3, but that's more arguable. There's also the fact that Wii's downloadables kick the other systems' ass, just from the sheer number of great classic games that every one can agree is great.

I actually think the Wii has a better selection of exclusives than the 360 and PS3, but I also think Wii Sports is one of the best games of this gen, so obviously i'm crazy :rolling:

None of the consoles can boast a great deal when it comes to exclusives. If you want to play Rez HD you need a 360. For Flower you'll need a PS3 and Lost Winds the Wii. We can debate whether Mario Galaxy is better than MGS4 (it obviously is!!) all day long, but what's the point? Tastes differ.

All we need to take from this thread is that Mario Galaxy is the best game released this gen
