mIRC dcc download

for some wierd reason when someone sends me something on irc it always tells me i have dcc pending on and it wont send. but i set it to auto accept and all. could someone help me?

It might be your firewall blocking it. My DCC on IRC hasn't worked since I installed my firewall.

Someone here with more technical knowledge than myself will be able to guide you better than me

mIRC, in the later versions, has a feature called "Ignore." For a reason beyond my scope of knowledge, it auto-ignores DCC unless you switch it off. Check the options, it should be the choice below the DCC settings.

Check to see if your firewall is blocking the incoming file... Also check to see If your AV software is doing the same as i know both Macafee and Norton can both interfere with DCC.

i havent installed any protection, the only firewall i have is the hardware one

we arent talking warez, im just saying when friends like spud send me things they made or something they cant. irc tells me i have dcc pending on, when its not
