Miscellaneous - There will be no more Miscellaneous

I figured I'd make this thread since I know Samon won't.

People who will be curious about where Miscellaneous went tomorrow or a week from now when they weren't here today to see that it's gone and it won't be coming back, and people will get a ban for making a thread about it.

So instead of having all those people get banned for making threads about it without being in the know, just sticky this thread for a week or a month so there will be no doubt.

Go ahead, ban me for a month if you want, but something as popular as Miscellaneous deserves a thread like this to be stickied so people know what happened to it, rather than just tossing out random bans to people who don't know what's going on and weren't around at this exact moment.


EDIT: The thread has now been stickied.

There will be no more Miscellaneous, as Samon and some other moderators have said. While we will mourn it's loss and not necessarily agree with it, it was decided because of the huge influx of spam posts in the thread.

Fair enough, stickied. Nobody was going to give out random bans; but certainly people who intentionally set out to be a smart arse will find themselves with extended, monthly bans. Like Rizzo, for instance.
