So, I went on a news site today, and the first thing I see in bold letters:

GP UNDER ENEMY FIRE, FRIENDLY FORCES RETALIATE

So I clicked it, and:

"No casulties after our forces returned warning fire blahblahblahb *yawn*"

I hate those things. Made me nervous for a second and than made me want to kill whoever came up with the article. Damn "attention grabbing" titles. :/

/rant.

Ah... *goes back to solving Mathematics homework*

Is that guy letting off a great big fart :O

who are they fighting?

Cant be the North, arent you guys at a cease-fire?

The cease-fire is supposed to be temporary. It verbally CAN be ended at any moment, but it probably won't.

Don't worry. North Korea will shell the hell out of you with nuke. You won't be noticing anything before you pass to the other world. Of course this is an obvious joke.

THat's the whole point of news. Get you to read their stuff. Have you never watched it on tv? "Five types of food may kill you before morning; more on this story at eleven" or "Can some colors produced by a TV cause irreversible blindness? Find out at 10."

I saw a documentary about North Korea recently. Pretty ridiculous how they completely shut themselves off from the rest of the world. Really immature, and the people are brainwashed like retards...."WE LOVE THE LEADER!!!!!"

I suggest : chloroform. And then let the whole world have him.

Yeah actually worse are those scaremongering titles that say "KIDS FORCED TO LEAVE SCHOOL AT 18" and actually the story is "some guy on a local council proposed that maybe we should raise the school leaving age to 18, and everyone else said no, we just wanted to catch your attention and to scare you into accepting our political agenda". The worst thing is that sometimes they don't tell you the reality of what they're reporting until halfway through the story by which time the casual reader has turned the page.
