You misunderstand. They don't actually have a clue who you are or what you're doing. They just latch onto a particular cell signal and track it as it passes various receptors. Its just for statistical data apparently. They're not passing out tickets or anything.

It's to track where cars are in general, not really where you are. I'm not sure they can even tell who you are actually. Or else they might be able to but the company has that stuff under a privacy agreement so they have no access to it in the first place.

Don't do things that require the authorities to have to catch you. That way you won't have to worry about them 'catching you' in the first place.

The fact is that if somewhere a signal identifier is being recorded by the equipment, they'd have to somehow match up that identifier with your particular cell phone. Thats way more work than anyone's ever going to do if they're just looking for speeders.
