Okay. I just wanted to make this post, since I just now found it. In my quest to find video lectures on Linear Algebra, I have stumbled upon a site called www.freevideolectures.com

Now this isn't important. What IS important to me, is that I found some of the videos, lots actually, being MIT lecture videos in streaming format that I was able to download. I went to the site they were offered from, and I saw that there was something called MIT OpenCourseWare. Available at http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/web/home/home/index.htm

Looked it up on wikipedia and basically it's MIT offering all of the material from its courses available online. Absolutely amazing.

I just wanted to share this for anybody who like me, cannot afford a real education and is trying to learn stuff online. Might be useful for you. It's going to be useful for me, I know!

I can't be arsed to wait for someone else to break the chain:
Ta, Raz, this is a good find that I never knew anything about. Imma try and work through the Comp Science one.

Bookmarked for possible future use (hoping to study physics in college next year).

Oh you guys are so silly.

Anyways. I wish that site had more stuff, like full video for everything, but I'm sure over time they'll start adding more, as it's still a recent development as of the beginning of this year I think.

However, that first site I gave... www.freevideolectures.com I think it was, links to other university sites that also offer similar free videos of sorts.

One I am liking so far is this one here.

It's pre-calculus math, and so far I already know much/all of this stuff that I've seen thus far, but it's a good brushup for me, especially since it's pre-calculus and I want to know that I can at least do the pre-calculus stuff.

The instructor is really awesome by the way, and it's sort of a different approach, with the camera right up next to him. He's very personable.

Wanted to see the famed Sloan Business department lectures but the few I clicked on only had powerpoint notes. Oh well...

Someone else make a post with only a smiley. See what happens. I should be beating all of you with my infraction stick right now.

Thanks man! Yes, I'm surely interested!

I'm also trying to find out if there is some software out there that will be really in depth and good when it comes to teaching and developing math skills.

Ever heard of supermemo?
http://www.wired.com/medtech/health/magazine/16-05/ff_wozniak?currentPage=1

Maybe thats not what you are looking for, but it should help you learn and keep track of everything you learn which has been a huge help for me. I think on his supermemo site he has some articles about learning math.
