how old is DoD anyways? I was under the impression that it kicked off the whole WW2 revival before Castle Wolfenstein and CoD and MOH and BF1942

Pretty sure it was MOH or something that spurred on the whole WW2 revival. Definately not DoD anyway.

DoD is fairly old but not that old.

MoH probably helped kick it off, but it never really left - the first FPS was Wolfenstein 3d, after all.
