Hammer, can you not edit your original post and keep all the links in it? That would make this thread more usefull, than having to sift through all the replies to find a website or mod.
 
I am actually thinking of making an in depth list of realistic mods (such as war). I will update you all on it once I do ;)

That extreme pong thing got me thinking...

Someone should make a mod on the same concept as QPong (Quake 2) and QPong Arena (Q3A). The idea for QPong was basically the same as pong but you used guns to move a 6-7ft diameter metal ball across the map and into the goals (maps got pretty creative, some even had giant paddles you had to avoid when shooting for a goal or they might fling the ball back and gib you)... QPong Arena wasn't as fun, but it is still worth playing.

Proball (Q3A) is also another fun mod that I would like to see in HL2. In Proball there is a glowing yellow ball about the size of a basketball... there are no guns... the only buttons you need are movement, throw/steal, and turbo. The map decided what kind of game you played... there were soccer, basketball, volleyball, one with a lava pit that you have to jump on pillars to cross, one with a giant bathroom in which you have to throw the ball into the urinals, and many more.

QPong and Proball were tons of fun but few people played them because they didn't get much publicity.
With HL2 it should be very easy (for someone that knows what they are doing) to make either of these mods.
 
There really should be an NBA mod.. Ooooh! Vinsanity comes in for the flush!

Well, its only a small design doc to get some feedback from the forum...but it has grown so much so i get around 300-600 unique hits everyday (mostly from Japan). I even found some fan art! I can believe it...its only a small design concept.

Wasn't there an Eradicator (no s) game? I played it LONG ago..
 
Yep. Years ago. We only found out a few weeks ago, and we've been using the Eradicators name for about 2 years now with no repercussions. The two aren't related, so I think we're safe :)
