mod question

will tf2 mods work with hl2..... will hl2 mods work with tf2..... what about mod compatability with other games valve releases for source... in my opinion all mods should be hl2 compatable because steam can just download the necissary components but this may earn me a few flames... just checking

I don't know TBH, but if it's anything like CS retail then TF2 will support HL2 mods.

But then again CS started out as a mod so who knows.


Making a game from scratch from an engine and making a game from an existing game (ie. mod) are two very different things.

that would make games like dues ex, unreal 2, vampire bloodlines, and ravenshield mods wich there not there simply games useing already existing engines
