It'd be really helpfull when you need to pm a mod but their "quota has been met"

Tell them to clean up their Inbox now and then :)

Hazar, bare in mind that we're all available on e-mail as well as PM. If we're actually online at the time, e-mail is just as good as a PM anyway. I have my POP e-mail account refreshing every 1 minute when I'm online so I get and probably reply to e-mails almost straight away.

Also, if you're looking for an e-mail address then check out the staff page on the main site http://www.halflife2.net/page.php?p=staff for all the admin's e-mail addresses.

Additionally, if it's about a specific post, then it's definitely better to use the reported post feature, which if you haven't noticed is at the top right hand corner of every post and indicated by the
report.gif
sign.

This was not an issue about a bad post or anything that needed to be delt with immediatly, I just wanted Asus to read my thread in hardware and software.

I have sent him an email, but it's sometimes more convienient to send them pm's

I guess mods dont have unlimited pm boxes because then you'd be open to some sort of pm spam attack?

a pm spam attack would be more effective now 'cause the legitiment people couldn't send pm's

the people that actually need to pm the mods

ah, you mean Legitimate then?
but yeah but surely an unlimited box would crashor the servers. they should atleast have much bigger boxes than anyone else, say, 150 or 200.

a typo...

bigger boxes would be fine, and I don't think an unlimited one would even crash any servers 'cause you have to wait to send a bunch, like posts.

I apologize Hazar. It is my fault. I am currently having hawt pm's with all the mods and their inboxes fill up :(.

They're already 150. They used to be 70 though.

Normally there's some prefab protection for that that you can activate
