I dont know but I remeber with rainbow 6 that some people where able to use a cheat in a game that allowed them to carry more then one primary weapon. If that had something to do with a mod chip then congrats to microsoft of banning them. One of the only reasons I see for using a mod chip is so that you can burn games. I absolutly hate it when people burn games and then I have to pick up the cost for them. So congrats to microsoft if that is the reason also.

You'll get banned from XBL for playing any Live game with a modded xbox...not just Halo 2. I guess they're just using Halo 2 as an example because it's M$ just getting Halo 2 more press.

aparently you didnt read the article.

to get around getting banned before all you ahd to do was trun off the mod chip and then the check on the bios passes.

here they are checking at least to see if there is a bigger hard driver than the 8 or 10 gig which is stock with an xbox
