Modern Warfare 2 Teaser

Boring trailer that tells me nothing worthwhile about the game at all. I wish they would show us some gameplay.
 
That might be the least revealing teaser I've ever seen. So... there are terrorists in an airport, and tanks. That's about all I got.

EDIT: Apparently you can view the teaser with like, frame by frame and zoom in and such to find hidden bits on the official website. Or something. It was in one of the comments.
 
i am awaiting the game, but that trailer didnt do jack shit.
 
Im interested in the game but dam what a cocky/lame ass trailer.

I suppose it was interesting. Not much to see but it was a teaser. Although I've got to say I found it quite hard to make what the guy was saying, did nobody else? I only made out the line "no rushing" :|
 
Might as well just flash the title and not bother wasting the rest of my time.
 
Special Forces/Counter Terrorism tactical gameplay maybe?

Found it quite funny you had to put your DOB in even though all you hear is people screaming.
 
It teased me alright. I quited liked the setup though.

Apparently the line at the end is ''The revolution is not possible. Non-revolutionary situation" in Russian.
 
**** you guys, that managed to hype me up.
Mainly because just seeing Modern Warfare 2 all prettied up like that, confirming that it'll be coming out is enough to make me excited. :eek:
****ing loved the first game and want MORE.
 
Ya as a teaser it did its job, only COD game i liked was 4 and im very interested in this.
 
its COD guys, it'll probably be amazing and just like the others...but yeah crappy trailer
 
It's a teaser, not a trailer. Personally, I consider myself thoroughly teased by it. November seems so far off.

Yes, I know its just a teaser perhaps I was just expecting more. But as someone already said E3 isnt to far away so Im sure we will get more then.
 
I DID over 500 hours in COD4, can't wait for mw2

Doesn't show much but you get the gist of whats going on. Besides that was a pretty cool presentation. I'm looking forward to it. Great audio as well.
 
Sounds to me like we are fighting Russians again. Perhaps its a continuation of the "revolution" so to say with the Ultranationalists?
 
Can you not read? It was a goddamn teaser. I'm unsure as to how people are still getting confused about that.

The airport - whatever it may be - will be the games only real unique mission, much like the sniper mission from COD4. The rest of the game will probably be typical COD. Nonetheless, I look forward to it as the COD games are always a fun romp.
 
Yeah, really the whole purpose of the thing was to get the date out there. Details will come later.
 
Can't wait for this game! I played every CoD and once I play this that'll mean I played every CoD up to date.
 
Hope this game isn't gonna be like halo gameplay wise, because it takes place in the future.

I know they probably won't change the gameplay style but, I ment Weapons, Equipment that might be used during the Gameplay.
 
i thouht it was quite cool, even if it didn't give much.

I'm puzzled as to how you all seem to think such a meager distinction saves this from being a worthless piece of crap. I don't think it even qualifies as a teaser. I'd say a more accurate description would be "release date preceded by some green shit no one cares about." Whoa, sound waves, slow the heck down guys. Oh my sweet ****, and they're neon green? Where do I pre-order?! :p

Anyway, yeah, hyped I guess, if only because of the series' pedigree. Hope they change things up a bit with the single player.

The sole purpose of a teaser is to announce the games existense and other small details. Did it announce that Modern Warfare 2 exists? Did it give other details? Yes? Then it did it's job. It was also unique and original, and actually gave more details then some other game teasers (release date, hints at small details of the game's setting/story/etc).
