I suggest adding either a forum or a section on the website for mods that have been released for HL2. Even little mods that only change some things in HL2 should be mentioned. Maybe don't allow discussion threads to be started and delete threads that mention mods that have already been mentioned. This way readers have a convenient list of mods that they can look through and discussion for a particular mod can be done under its thread. Just a thought . :)

Would need staff to run around setting up lists and lots of mod teams wanting to be noticed more. Would be lots of work, you willing to do all that? :)

Anyway I'm pretty sure we've had another thread like this only recently too. I think we said "maybe", so yeah, "maybe.

Perhaps the release forum should meet its creator?

Actually more of what I had in mind was a regular forum where people who had developed a mod could just make a post with a link to their mod. All the moderaters of the forum would have to do is delete duplicate threads that mention a mod that is already there. Also, they would delete threads that someone starts just for the sake of discussing something. This way readers looking for a mod to download would not have to weed through the discussions to find the mod links.

I think Moddb has that covered. Oh wait, they have an entire site devoted to mods.

Fearing for your mighty postcount, eh? :P

Isn't the mod forum pretty much just called General Editing?

I would. And for my previous HL2 fansite, I very well did. ^_^

Hey, I'd be up for it. I've done something similar for another site, it's a whole lot of fun :)

Perhaps you could create a forum section and let some forum members post news, updates and stuff on mods they find there? And let mod teams advertise and post about their mods?
Perhaps the mod teams could post when being up for an interview, and a volunteer forum member could interview them and post it in an interview section on the site?
