In case you haven't heard, Valve is beta testing a new Steam feature called Family Sharing. Recently, SteamDB spotted some new features that will soon be making their way in to Family Sharing. These new features deal mostly with what can be thought of as parental controls. The subset of features are called "Family Options".
Users can setup a PIN that will allow them to restrict access to specific games and features on Steam. This screen explains how to setup "Family Options":
This is a screen where users can specify which games require a PIN to play, and which are freely available without a PIN:
And lastly, if you try to access restricted content, you will see this screen where you'll be prompted to provide a PIN before continuing:
Thanks again to SteamDB for the information and also for providing screenshots of the Family Options features. If you'd like to enter to win a chance to participate in the Family Sharing beta, join its respective Steam group today.
