More Half-Life 2 Orange And Black Box Details Emerge

Now all the people who shouted that the ports are causing the delay can shut up.

  1. I thought you could purchase Episode 2 alone.
  2. The Orange pack is available for the pc too.
  3. Wasn't delayed because of consoles.
  4. They are trying to support DX7 (which is retarded).
  5. Valve might make HL2 for the Wii.

Obvious, have posted about it many times.
Its been read, and posted before.
NO YOU THINK?
Ya....only like 10000000times valve quoted saying they try to support old hardware.
Valve maybe working on the Wii....Really...Last interview with Gabe he praised it the most, said he loved it. Pretty much the same as saying that he might work on it...

Sweet. That means I can go out and get that nice dx7 card I've been eyeing.

If you still have a dx7 card you should be gangr*ped and then mauled by dogs.

HL2 wii? Nah. At best they'll mention the wii mod in a slow steam-news week. Would be nice to see them do a little project for the wii though. Doesn't need to be a shooter. Perhaps the Portal team could do a Narbacular style game.

With Portal closest to completion, Valve will be stupid not to offer it (or at least partially offer it) to people who pre-order Orange or Black over Steam. They'd sell shitloads.

Man HL2 on the Wii...... I can see my arm falling off now...

I'm hopeing that Gabe dose decide to make something for the wii. Hope this isn't a stupid question, but the only thing I'm worry about is would the wii system be able to support hl2 graphics?

Sounds like a good idea kupoartist.

Probably just about, but only to the same degree that the X-Box could (low resolutions, short draw-distance, one or two extra loading areas). Whether it could handle later games like Half-Life 2 Episode 2 is an issue, though it could handle to much the same standard as it could handle Half-Life 2.

Woohoow....Valve will (probably) develop games for the Wii. That's good news.
A collaboration between the best game-designers and the best designed gaming console. The results can and will be nothing more then revolutional.
