More matrix films/series?

I just saw an interview with the cast on MTV...

the quote was
Keanu: "It was great to complete the story of the matrix *pause* ...well, at least Neo's story"

So what are your opinions on this? Should they make more? What will the story be?

I reckon if they are gonna do it, they should at least make a prequel or something... so it can be based within the matrix.

Matrix scenes have always kicked ass


edit: There is a monthly subscription to that matrix online game. Hmmm... i bet it sucks!

Reloaded and Revolutions were meant to be one film, but had to be divided due to length issues. This means that there potentially should be another to fully complete the 'trilogy'.

I think they should atleast show abit more about the original main charactersi think theres alot of potential still left in those characters, would be cool.

And maybe someything on the programs in the matrix, like agents and stuff, would be excellent.

Frankly Joel Silver needs to be fed through a shredder feet first for letting the walcowski brothers have free reign with the sequels, if he was any kind of a decent producer he would of pulled them in and pushed them hard to create a masterpiece trilogy. Instead he opted to hype up a mis managed and bloated project to the extreme.

The first film was tightly done and innovative, but the sequels really show a lack of imagination and an inability to bring something new to the table. I'm still amazed that no one at the test screening for reloaded had the balls to say 'man the CGI on the burly ball sucks cock, we need to maintain a standard here, either we do this shit right, or we scrap it'.

The game and Animatrix tie ins might also of seemed a good idea at the time, but ultimately they will impact upon peoples perceptions of the Trilogy as a whole over time.

I thought the CGI in Matrix Reloaded was it's only redeeming quality. The scenes weren't spectacular, but the CGI was tight.

Joel Silver and the Wahowski Brothers have both said that the story is over. No more movies. Not even a prequel.

Now, as for video games, anime and comic books..well, you never know how many of those they're gonna churn out.
