Well there have been different churches branched off from the Original "LDS" Church. Man, I didnt realize how many anti-Mormon websites there are, its a little absurd. Half the stuff they're claiming seems like they've pulled it right outta their rear end.

Of course. I know there have o be SOME out there, I've just never bothered looking for them. To be honest, I'm afraid of what I might find. Anyway, I never really got why people hate mormons... 99.999% of us are just really nice, sweet, nerdy people. Sometimes not even nerdy enought to be described as such. But then, people still hates us. I guess it's misinformation, or something like that.

i think they are absurd. how can a christian religion condemn the use of alcohol when one of Jesus' first miracles (maybe the first) was turning water to wine. im not even religious and i think thats a bit of a hypocracy

Aye, it is. I don't think it's hypocrisy, though- we weren't told that we shouldn't drink alchohol until a while after(I think) and anyway, in biblical times, I hear wine was more like grape juice, they didn't know much about fermentation so it probably had like... NO alchohol in it.

Most Mormons arent exposed to Alcohol that much. I certainly wasnt until I worked with my Brother and toured the West with a Mechanical Bull. I honestly dont understand why people drink it (beer), smells like crap and it makes you act like a moron..... or really funny......or generous. I cant imagine anything smelling that like tastes very good.
