Well...here it is folks. The last Mortal Kombat game for this generation of consoles...maybe the last one ever.

The next game will feature every single character from every single game ever created in the mortal kombat series (60+ characters)

I'm glad they decided to include all the characters. Thats awesome. It will be hell to balance all of those characters so its a fair fight between any two of them.


This should be a great game. Hopefully it turns out to be a perfect game, but I doubt it.

I remember playing MK at my local video store early in the90`s. it was no instructions on how to do the ending moves."finish him!" but we figured it out. I "specialized" on sub zero and scorpion. fun times.

i just wish they would make PC versions..i have MK2 for PC and had tons of fun...i dunno i guess im just weird like that about playing on consoles.

Fighting games with more than 10 characters is just kinda ridiculous. Most of the time you end up with characters that look a little different but have nearly the same combos and moves as one of the more well known characters. I say cut it down and make the fighting styles really unique an fitting to one character.

i don't like using consoles period...its not about Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo...i just don't like the idea of controllers.

Its going to be good to have Kabal, Kung Lao, and others back. Looks like they are trying to make everyone happy by not excluding any characters.

I like how Kabal can dash like a flash of light and make you spin around dizzy then he fugga u uppa with combos.

Everyone loved Scorpion and Sub Zero because they were ****ing ninjas man! NINJAS!! They were blue and yellow ninjas and that made them elite or something! Not only that but their finishing moves were easy to pull off.

This is great. They better make the fatalities better though. The last MK games have had "meh" fatalities and that's most of the enjoyment I get from MK: fatalities. The one I love: Scorpians fatality in Deception. Except for the ending. Snap the neck? Boo.

Man, I used to love do the bicycle kick with Liu Kang. It was funny listening to that sound he made when he did it too.

This is my second favorite fighting game series of all time, after Street Fighter.

The iceman - Sub Zero was always my favorite after I realized he was so much 'cooler' than Scorpion. :dork:

You know how Sub Zero was vastly different some of the games... like from II to III he got Ice clone and lost the ice patch move.

I used to make my friend furious. I could always destroy him with some nasty, tricky ice patches for him to slip on... so when he slipped, I would upper-cut him in the face.

I was disappointed that they took that move out, so hopefully they have more than one version of Sub Zero and whoever else. They probably have multiple versions of certain characters, Z_Ryuken...
