Mossberg 500 cruiser finished

I just finished skinning the Mossberg 500 cruiser. You're the first onces to see it, so let me know what you think.

As you might have noticed, I like to go for the old and used look on my skins

Very nice, but if that's the same heat shield that's on the 590 I owned (and I'm pretty sure it is), it should be tapered fore-and-aft. The back end of the sheild is the same size as the receiver, and the forward end is narrow as shown. But... Verra nice.

Heat shields are for pussys any way . I've put mucho rounds thru a winchester defender, I don't remember it get all that hot heh heh.

I think NPR Ira Glass is right, but it's a good model and skin regardless.

well it doest look like a skin just solid color with weathering try to place a steel texture on it. and some shading with the barrel , handle etc.
wht size is the texture map ?

The polycount is pretty low: 1244. I might add some more detail later, but now I'm just tired of working on it.

NPR Ira glass: Thx for the correction. I'll try to find some new reference pictures and correct it, if necessary.

mindless_moder: There are more than one texture map in this gun... the sizes vary. I'm not gonna add shading to the textures, because the source engine supports shading in real time :cheers:
