Garden State--Got me right here***thumps general area of heart**
woo, thank god im not the only one...for some reason Natalie Portman got me right in the heart...almost made me cry...

One film that took me by suprise was Lost In Translation, it didn't make me cry at all but it did make me feel...odd (for lack of a better word) for quite some time after it was over. :|

Pianist
Lost in Translation (same reason as JiMmEh - I actually felt lost)
Shawshank Redemption
Motorcycle Diaries
Crash

The Jesus and Mary Chain song at the end of Lost in Translation made it moving to me.

The Pianist
Schindlers List... infact, Schindlers list makes me lose all hope for humanity.

Motorcycle Diaries is a good addition to the list.

Saying Private Ryan made me sad, but didn't make me cry. Movies like that bring home the reality of war. Another sad movie was we were soldiers, pooor jimmy :(

yeah, we were soldiers was sad because it was all true...

The only movies that made me cry was
LOTR:ROTK(because of the beautiful music at the end)
Titanic
The Green Mile
Cast Away
Big Fish
Road To Perdition
but i prolly cried the hardest outta those at the end of The Green Mile

hardball
titanic
shindlers list

for anyone who hasnt seen hardball the end is really sad when

the little kid gets hit by a shotgun blast from a drug dealers fight near the end and dies then they have a really big speech at the end of the movie

oooh, poor kid, poor us for having to endure the speech
jk

Seriously though, another sad movie is Wind Talkers :\ really hits home

Joke right?

I Forgot Gladiator and American History X

Except the film in my previous post id say that Enemy At The Gates, Saving Private Ryan and Passion Of The Christ moved me alot

It looks like i'm the only one that thought the plot to Saving Private Ryan was rather silly, and not very moving.

Band of Brothers, while not a movie, I found to be very moving. I watched most episodes with with my Grandad, and saw him quietly well up a few times.

How can it be a stupid story when it was based on real life events?

I never said it didn't happen (silly things happen in real life too) - although I bet it's rather loosely based on real life events. It was just a little too cheesey for me, and most of the characters weren't very endearing.

Horses for courses :)

Shawshank Redemption and Lost in Translation. I don't know, the end of the latter just kind of hit me.

I cried at the last episode of Band of Brothers........where all the guys are giving their commentaries......th one where Shifty starts crying and the last one where Maj. Winters denies he was a hero, but the men a served with were was a ver emotion impact for me

American Beauty - The film is really depressing up until Kevin Spacey's monologue at the end of the film. Every single time i hear that i can't help but smile at everything i have in life. Love that film.

Garden State - Really powerful ending, not one of those cheesy romantic endings but much much better. Great stuff.

Oldboy - The end of Oldboy made me feel incredibly incredibly dirty and violated. With reason though. But thats what the film does best and i can't help but love it for it. Eww though. Seriously eww

Spirited Away - I get tingley everytime i see the entrance to the spirit world fade into the distance as they drive off in the car and that music plays. Love it.

Shawshank was good.
Terminator 2 was very sad :*(
I know, I cried like a child, with the thumb....

and people say i'm not sensitive.

any movies coming that look like they could be possible tear shedders?

ahhhhh!!!! my post count just reached "666"...........is this a sign?

I havent seen the vast majority of the movies you people listed so i watched Schindler's List and American Beauty. Wow. Great movies

Winnie The pooh. I'm totally serious here.
The only ones I can think of are "the search for christopher robin" and "the tigger movie" but I'm sure there are more. I mean, any other movie, I'm like a flipping statue. Put on pooh bear, I'm cryin' my eyes out. I'm so wierd.

The Fox and the Hound always used to make me cry. You know that part where the fox gets driven away from home and dropped off in the woods by the granny?

OH and the Passion of the Christ. That movie made me "whip" up some tears.

Passion of the Christ - actually cried while thinking about it for the next few days.

Neon Genesis Evangelion Death and Rebirth.

Awesome movie!
