Mouse problem?

Ive tried 3 different optical mouses 2 corded one wireless and when i play i have a constant 90 fps (geforce 5600 gt) but when i move the mouse its skips around or gets jerky its not my connection and its not my video so im not sure what it is, and ive tried with mouse filter on and off and cl_smooth 0 and 1 and they both help but nothing completly fixes it thanks in advance

so into the mouse settings in controll panell and check for stuff that looks out of liine

Go into options in steam and turn the mouse filter on.

like i said i tried the mouse filter having it on acctualy makes it worse and no my frame rate is fine its constantly 80 dosnt what i meen by the mouse skips is like when you dont have mouse fitler on somtimes it feels a little bumps like your getting really low frame rates like maybe 30 but im not im getting 80 and all my settings are fine

this sounds like the same issue i was having when i first started playing. i had to resort to uninstalling steam and deleting my game files and downloading them again. after i did this ive never had a problem. now that steam has a backup program, i can just revert back to my backup files when anything goes awry.

did you have a problem with when you were playing the mouse was skipping but when you were observing first person it was fine
