What mouse sensitivity to the pro's use for CS:S?

I use 1.337 - which makes me a pr0 by default :D

Highest mouse sensitivity for my Diamondback.

WOW. i must have some like super mental mouse speed compared to you guys - i'm using Diamond back also :D

LMAO 1.337

Diamondback owns. Mines on 4 or something like that :)

Thanks, I'll try three to four, though it'll take time to get used to since I've been using 12 with mouse filter.

i use 1.64 with my diamondback, but 6 at the moment because im using a crappy old optical mouse (diamondback cord is broken)

lower is better IMO. I have my Logitech MX518 set at one nudge over the middle, and in the actual game I have it set at 3, I think I may go even lower... I can whip around comfortably, and still get that headshot from long distances with ease... :)

I use 18.1 and standard in windows, I have a logi mx510, I rock at those quick turnarounds and headshot the guy shooting u from the back moves. :)

since i play CS at 800x600 i have my sensitivity set to .8, but for CS: Source i play at 1024x768 so my mouse is at 1.2 and i have the wired Intellimouse explorer 3.0

btw pros play CS @ 800x600 from what i hear thats why i switched... supposed to make you more accurate or something. it's helped me a bit. Oh and they usually have sensitivity from 1-2

I heard that too its something with the crosshair size/precision.

But it just looks way too horrible for me so I use 1280*1024 on my 19" CRT.

Creative Optical Mouse - 6 in windows (default) - 1.00 in-game.

wtf @ Selas and Illicit! Having a higher resolution surely gives you more peripheral vision :O.
Peripheral Vision > Aim (Since mine's godly anyway xD)

3.0 is what i use... i think the pros use the lowest they can deal with

LMAO hehe - higher res means that your aim should be more textured and smoother , surely?

Oh noes! You've found me out! :(

Anyway I don't think it matters. You can get awesome using any hardware or resolution. But some people just play better with different settings.
Like I play in a window so I can chat on MSN while playing :D

Yeah .1 or 10.1 who gives a *** aslong as you can land those bullets in someones face :p

I fluctuate between 1.0 and 1.2.

Sometimes I wish it would go lower.

Mine is on 2 and down a cpl of notches in windows, move 12" on my mouse mat and turn about 180 degrees. Its for teh 1337

In CS:S, unlike CS 1.6 and older, you can go below 1.00

You might be able to enter a lower value in the css cfg file. Try that out, or in the console i guess as well, you just need the right command.

sensitivity 0.[number you want] in console. It's that easy :p

I have it full on windows with mouse acceleration (mx510) and I use 4.9. Mouse acceleration gives deadly headshot precision and you can still turn around very fast.
