One thing I would like to see is that when a thread is moved, that thread can be updated to the front of the page and updated with view/post counts. As far as I can tell, that doesn't happen and the thread quickly becomes a dead one.

edit: I realize that this can be dificult to implement but dammit, I posted to a moved thread and I want my voice to be HEARD.

Just post the thread in the right section to begin with and you won't have any problems.
If we created this new thing, then we should also create a 2 point "wrong section" warning for threads :E (that way, us mods don't need to clean up after lazy/boorish forumers who let threads fall where they stand)
