People without Steam are people who hate Steam practically. Personally I can't see the good with WON. Steam is much easier to use imho.

It has to be good or it's not worth keeping a secret. Standard HLDM is an OUT RIGHT DISSAPOINTMENT. Who can say that HLDM is somthing Valve would do? That's a horrible idea. It's a waste of time.

DOD & CS source would be better than standard Deathmatch & capture the flag. It doesn't add up.

I really think some of you people have no immagination. Anything short of innovative gameplay is like gum on the street to Valve (who cares). It's either great or a waste of time with MP.

At least you can count on DOD & CS for great Multiplayer goodness.

I -want- standard death match. I just don't really have much fun in co-op games (maybe team deathmatch), probably because I'm anti-social, but I seriously doubt they'd release HL2 without basic deathmatch.

There will probably be something else that comes with it too, but it's hard to tell what. Maybe TFC: Source (not the same as TF2, which will be a new game also using the Source engine) as an advertisement for the other Source ports and TF2??

My money is really on that it'll just come with Deathmatch, maybe team deathmatch, possibly TFC: Source and probably some other new type of game mode that we haven't heard of/seen yet.

Either way I think its gonna be great and anything you dont see right at release im sure valve will release later or the mod commmunity will do! :cheers:
