Mp5 Pip

Valve said that weapon arsenal and behaviour servs the gameplay so don't be too entusiastic that the weapons will behave totally realistically (but they will achieve its purpose, I'm sure). For that, try some combat sim like Operation Flashpoint or Ghost Recon...

Abom|nation: haha, I think I would know what a sight on a pistol is m8. But thanx anyways :)

Phisionary: Ah okay, that's what I thought. Thanx mate :)

lol. Yes, you are the only one that thinks that the OICW looks retarded. OICW will pwnz0r j00!!! USP Match is awesome, but...... what??? It looks too shiny?? It has what looks like too much recoil??? It's too ded sexay????

hmm, love the usp match sound, its got good feedback, sounds like my usp .45 for CS

Here is my favorite gun website! The best part about them is they always update and they also give you important history on the guns themselves! They also have 10-12 different gun catagories like handguns, bolt action rifles, assualt rifles, shotguns, smgs, ect.... Very nice and well made gun website. It has the majority of the major manufactured guns in the world on it.

same here, its a great site. Any of you guys fired a USP .45 ACP in real life with factory loads? Quite a handful indeed :)

I would like to see the 357 mag make an appearance again, I know the limited capacity doesn't work as well in a game, but I really love that weapon :)

I personally don't think the OICW is gonna find much use on the battlefield unless they redesign it

that thing looks too damn big and unwieldly to carry into combat

i know i'd much rather carry a 16 into combat than that giant ass thing

also, i question how robust it could possibly be when all it's functions run off a battery and computer

doobz, not quite up-to-date on the new military equipment are ya? that OICW is about 3 difrent guns in 1. its a sniper rifle, assult rife, and grenade launcher. and as for the battery and computer, thats no big deal. the military has been working on stuff like this for years. there almost done devloping an indestructable laptop that attaches to your forarm. so far its lasted through almost everything except being melted and crushed by a tank. and as for the battery, the comp is so small it wont take much juice to power it. one of those huge flashlight batteries will have it going for a very long time. (sorry i dont know what size that batterie is, i cant think of it at the moment. but its that 4 inch tall rectangle like one.)

yeah, i agree. its way to damn big and ugly. if they had cut that stock down to half its size it might have a chance though.

i am quite up to date on millitary technology, and i can tell you that i can't imagine myself or any self-respecting soldier actually enthusiastic about carrying something that big and cumbersome into combat, believe me

i can tell you, you won't be seeing many special forces operatives lugging that thing around anytime soon, they realize they can't rely on technology, plus they can't afford to lug something that heavy around

it may be a whizbang gun that can do everything, but would you actually carry a swiss army knife into combat? i don't think so

It looks unwieldy as ****, but evidently it weighs a bit less than a fully loaded M4 with all the same options. It looks like a bitch to field, but we'll see how it swings out and if they can widdle it down a bit more.

And if the battery and electronics don't fuzz out constantly, I can't see the size alone being a a problem. The extra range and pure destructive power of that 20mm might be enough to win it a place in the grunt's heart.

But by no means is it a bad idea. Just remains to be seen how they implement it.

i can tell you right now, nobody would want to carry it into combat in the state it's in right now, looks like you're carrying a giant log into combat

If it could launch explosive rounds the length of 17 football fields, I'd carry a giant doll made out of used tampons into battle.
