MS I can hear your milking machines again...

Stages: Hey, I can agree that the stages in Oni were bland (although not annoyingly so), but at least they don't rehash certain rooms over and over to the point where it becomes ridiculous.

Controlls: Argue all you want about the controlls, they worked fine as far as I'm concerned and you're probably the first person I've ever heard complaining about them and yes, I've known lots of blokes who've played it.

AI: They're called snipers, deal with them the same way back. Not that hard.

Music: What the hell are you on about here anyway? There's plenty of music in Oni, mabye not as much as some would like but at least there's plenty to go around. And what do you mean "only battle sequences"? This game is all about battle sequences. At least I find it better than most new games. On this subject I can agree that Halo has better music, but that's probably Halo's best feature anyway.

I didn't say Oni is bad game, I say I understand why someone would argue that some aspects of the game is badly designed, etc, but the game as a whole, I think stands out as a fine game. You can yak about nostalgic feelings all you want, I'm not saying I think Oni appeals to me simply for nostalgic reason, but one could argue that most games are appealing to people because it reminds them of previous experiences.

The reason I lost respect for Bungie is because they're getting undeserved attention. The Halo games are overrated and decent games at best. I could go on forever about how Microsoft milks this cow that is Halo, but that's for a different discussion. I like Oni better, and it may be because of the nostalgia, but honestly I don't know, but I would like to point out that I have been playing videogames many years before I played Oni so most of my nostalgia goes way beyond that game.

Final note: Not that I think it matters to you, because you're probably gonna go on about fanboyism, how most people are stupid, biased point spammers or whatever (mostly arguments and accusations that will probably lack proof), but the PC version of Oni (the one I played) had a pretty good user score on Metacritic. The reviewer score ain't bad either.

I'm not a big fan of Halo but I think it looks great, and they have Ghost in the Shell director!
Ugh... If Ghost in the Shell is 'a landmark', it's a giant brass cock where pigeons perch and defecate, erected in a suburb for fourteen year-old boys who think philosophy is about drawings of naked women jumping off buildings.

So basically, it's a match made in heaven.

Seeing this is a guy that worked on the Patlabor movies I'm resisting the urge to smack you in the face through the internet.

I don't see that as a landmark or anything, it's just not that bad choice for the "milked" video game spin-off anime flick...
Actually I never really liked first movie, what I liked about GitS was in the Innocence.

Yes, evil MS, doing what any sensible company does, capitalizing on a succesfull franchise!

BOO MS!

agreed, this is a travesty, they should close the door on a lucrative business because someone somewhere might say they're milking the license (OMG!!!) ...and we know how milking the license never ever produces anything even remotely good. I'm looking at you star trek, star wars, battlestar galactica, batman, Disney, the bible etc etc ..you're just money making licenses for your respective IP property holders, you belong to the people!!!

/sarcasm

I'll watch it but it will be really hard to top Red vs Blue. personally I dont think they will

Has any one here ever heard an actual milking machine? They're fairly quiet really.
