MSN Messenger 6.1

Is anyone else having problems with this POS s'ware? I previously had MSN 6.0 installed, which ran fine until my 'friend' told me how wonderful 6.1 was and that I should "totally get it man".

So yeah, I installed it and have had nothing but problems inside windows since. Windows constantly crashing, MSN freezing up, making all internet traffic freeze up, signing in and out on its own 100's of times an hour (pissing off everyone on my contact list).

Grrr! Bloody Microsoft!

6.1 works fine for me, although it does sign in then out when i boot up, other then that, its fine.

i've had that same problem. U can sign on for like a split second, u see yur list, then u go offline. I've seen it happening with lots of my contacts too when they constantly keep signing on in like 5 second intervals. Microsoft is full of poo poo.

I dont like when they fill the program with crappy features that you never use, thats why I dont use MSN/ICQ anymore... im only on IRC now, much better.

Me and a few of my contacts have the same problem with signing in, really fackin annoying when the whole right side of your screen is filled with sign-ins. This one time I told him to stop signing off before I knew what was happening, caught him between signins, next one he sent back saying "cant" then quickly signed off XD

I've done: "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove"
When I was installing my computer =P.

Only use IRC at the moment.

MSN is like Steam.
It either works on your computer or not.

Im using msn... basically because everyone i know uses it.. and i like the voice feature in it... also it actually works on my comp.

MSN is my fav of the 3 main messengers (ICQ, MSN, AIM)
